U.S rejects W.H.O.’s pandemic treaty power grab

U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have officially rejected the 2024 amendments to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) International Health Regulations (IHR).

The controversial amendments, adopted by the World Health Assembly in what critics call a rushed and non-transparent process, would empower the WHO to impose binding global measures such as lockdowns and travel restrictions in response to vaguely defined “potential public health risks.”

Kennedy condemned the amendments as a gateway to censorship and authoritarianism reminiscent of the COVID-19 response, asserting the U.S. can collaborate internationally without surrendering its constitutional freedoms. Rubio echoed these concerns, slamming the amendments for prioritising politics over effective crisis response and pledging to uphold Americans’ civil liberties above all.

“The proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations open the door to the kind of narrative management, propaganda, and censorship that we saw during the COVID pandemic,” said Kennedy.

“The United States can cooperate with other nations without jeopardizing our civil liberties, without undermining our Constitution, and without ceding away America’s treasured sovereignty.”

“Terminology throughout the amendments to the 2024 International Health Regulations is vague and broad, risking WHO-coordinated international responses that focus on political issues like solidarity, rather than rapid and effective actions,” said Rubio.

“Our Agencies have been and will continue to be clear:  we will put Americans first in all our actions and we will not tolerate international policies that infringe on Americans’ speech, privacy, or personal liberties.”

The announcement received resounding support from  U.S.lawmakers, many of whom criticised the WHO’s pandemic-era policies as corrupt, incompetent, and harmful.

Senator Ron Johnson, Congressman Tom Tiffany, and others praised the move as a critical rejection of global overreach and a vital step toward reclaiming U.S. public health policy from unelected international bodies.

Lawmakers cited long-standing efforts to block WHO agreements and defund the organisation altogether, with Congressman Chip Roy and Congressman Andy Biggs framing the rejection as a decisive blow against “power-hungry globalists.”

      • It is very easy to get corrupted if you want power.
It is very powerful to be able to corrupt.
IMO the problem lies with the…follow the money…candidate/party donations.
Zhe money buys power, it’s as simple as that.
They also fatten up stooges and select them as head of party/state/swampy.
The ‘rotating door’ works in many dimensions.
Alas, the ultimate responsibility lies with the Loyality of the people to the people.
Better think long and hard who you vote for nekt election.

  1. Sounds good perhaps possibly.

Why does The New Zealand Government continue to adhere to the evil corrupt cretinous communist WHO agenda I wonder.

Answers on a postcard to the evil corrupt cretinous communist Judith Collins obviously.

  2. Yeah whatever, I don’t trust RFK a single inch.

The guy is mostly a sellout. Bought and paid twice over for.

    Sadly.

  3. This man would make a decent President. Good to see at least one nation not licking the WHO’s boots. Unlike the shameful, mainstream political parties in New Zealand. Don’t expect anything comparable here from the quislings.
