Kiwi driver Liam Lawson showed composure to finish seventh at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, surviving a late clash with teammate Isack Hadjar and executing a one-stop tyre strategy that paid off for Racing Bulls.
Starting from seventh, Lawson managed his tyres over 50 laps to secure his third-best result of the season, helping end the team’s three-race points drought.
Despite a close final-lap battle, both cars finished in the top ten, lifting Lawson to 14th in the drivers’ standings and boosting Racing Bulls’ position in the constructors’ race. Lando Norris won the event ahead of Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen.
