Former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Catherine Austin Fitts has reignited controversy over the Pentagon’s missing USD $21 trillion, claiming in a new interview that much of the unaccounted money has been funnelled into building a breakaway civilisation, advanced invisible weaponry, and possibly funding a shadowy global government.
Speaking to Paul Buitink on the Reinvent Money YouTube channel, Fitts said, “A lot of [the $21 trillion] is going to… endow a global government… a breakaway civilisation… a huge amount… [has gone to] the invisible weaponry we have, [which] is far beyond anybody’s comprehension… [and is] the secret sauce behind the US dollar.”
Fitts, now the founder of the Solari Report, referenced underground military bases as one potential recipient of the funds but said she remained skeptical that such facilities accounted for the bulk of the missing money. “To build it and keep it secret, it’s another cost. Secrecy is very, very expensive to engineer,” she noted, referencing past studies like Top Secret America and interviews on her own platform with UFO historian Richard Dolan.
Instead, she argued that advanced technologies—largely controlled by private companies to avoid government oversight—are where much of the investment has gone. “It contributes to enormous valuations in the marketplace… and it’s the secret sauce behind the US dollar,” she said. Fitts also warned of the growing use of “mind control” and media manipulation to keep the public unaware of such developments: “If I can get everybody on sports and porn and brainwash them… I can get a lot of people [to dismiss] an underground base [as] just conspiracy.”
Her comments, which blend economic analysis with national security and psychological warfare claims, are likely to spark fresh debate over financial accountability and the hidden infrastructure of the U.S. military-industrial complex.

Underground facilities are no longer top secret but public domain knowledge. Disclosure has come in a variety of ways. The funding is admitted, the technology has existed for a century, our officials have admitted they exist, the rich and powerful are having their own bunkers installed. Nuclear war is the cover story. Everything on the surface is a staged show of political and social turmoil and ridiculously to keep the masses distracted until the vaults are sealed. Political arrests, alleged executions, disappearances of people will all increase and the causes are all manufactured…as more and more people are sent into the underground facilities.
