The U.K Labour Party’s Technology Secretary Liz Kendall faced fierce criticism from BBC Breakfast viewers after suggesting that digital ID could “help tackle illegal immigration” while also streamlining access to government services.
Defending the idea, she said: “If your viewers imagine that they had one credential that would allow them access \[to] all the different government services … I do think this could be a real benefit.”
But viewers online branded her “delusional,” with one dismissing the claim as “more delusion, similar to AI benefiting the U.K. by 10% over 5 years.”
Others warned of security risks, with one commenter scoffing: “Right up until the system is hacked and everyone’s personal information is posted on the dark web!”
Many accused the government of using migration as a pretext to bring in ID cards, arguing the policy wouldn’t stop small-boat crossings. “How will it help when the dinghy boys throw their documents into the sea? This is not about immigration, it’s about us not complaining about it!! NO!!” fumed one.
Another said bluntly: “It’s total bollox to say it does… it’s just another excuse to try to get ID cards by the backdoor.”

The Global push for Digital ID is now in Lockstep just like Covid. The greater the number of people who stand firm and resit will stop it in it’s tracks. Be brave and resist.
We only want your best.
We want you safe, healthy and live secure with all the convenience a digital high-security prison provides.
Funny how all of these so called democracies are in dystopian lock step. The UK is doing it, New Zealand and Australia, co incidentally, too. Nasty little globalists all taking orders from their masters.
The future of technocratic banking control is already being deployed in Vietnam [70 million] who in over 2 years implemented a nationwide digital ID system that requires both citizens and foreign residents to permit the government to store their biometric data in a centralized database. Participation is not optional, and all accounts without biometric data will be closed to prevent scams and fraud. The Vietnamese government has already erased and/or frozen 86 million bank accounts. And Vietnam is just the beta test; this is going worldwide.

Magna Carta, dated 15 June 1215
(10) If anyone who has borrowed a sum of money from Jews dies before the debt has been repaid, his heir shall pay no interest on the debt for so long as he remains under age, irrespective of whom he holds his lands. If such a debt falls into the hands of the Crown, it will take nothing except the principal sum specified in the bond.
(11) If a man dies owing money to Jews, his wife may have her dower and pay nothing towards the debt from it. If he leaves children that are under age, their needs may also be provided for on a scale appropriate to the size of his holding of lands. The debt is to be paid out of the residue, reserving the service due to his feudal lords. Debts owed to persons other than Jews are to be dealt with similarly.
This aligns with the rule upheld by Christianity and similarly in Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism: while lending money was permitted, often seen as a form of charity, charging interest was forbidden. Not so with jews. So really, the only group being money lenders were jews. But charging interest was not good enough for them. They used usury. For that they were ostracised from society.
Some say they were forbidden to enter any trade and that’s why they had to resort to usury. Others say that they were money lenders because they do not like physical work, others say that that they were shun by the rest of society because of their own aversion to integrate. The only ‘trade’ jews did was ‘shakhern’, which is a bit like usury by haggling traded goods cunningly for more than they are worth.
And who gave these usurers legal standing to leech on the people? The very governing rulers as today, because their wars (actual external or societal internal) were financed with jewish money. The compound interest burden was then extracted via tax from the people governed, often for many generations.
What has changed?
It got worse with technology with the creation of new money and more debt and digital ID to track the debt and deny cash savings withdrawls beyond a limit.
I think Liz Kendall should review the most recent protest march in London hosted by Tony Robinson and Elon Musk. To see just how she and people like her might end up. Unsettling as it is, if the citizens can’t get proper governance and justice, then they are ready to fight for it. To replace what they have now with something we used to have.
When public servants become our masters, the citizens become revolutionary. It simple terms citizens reset leadership by force.
The Magna Carta was signed by the Monarch in 1215. It was only signed because the kings army was surrounded by the much larger nobles army. It took days to resolve the terms of freedom demanded by the people. The King knew he would be killed if he did not agree to the ultimatum. A fairly strong motivation. In 2015 Queen Elizabeth cast a coin with two heads of state. One side was hers and the other from from the king of 1215. A very clear endorsement the Magna Carta is still law.
The French citizens have demanded a change of course by burning down buildings. Its just their way. In the US, the right to carry arms is so that no government can enslave it citizens.
Liz Kendal has stepped so far away from carrying out the peoples will, she has made herself politically unemployable. Typical statement from a politician who knows she is on the way out. Given the task of falling on her own sword in exchange for a diplomatic posting or some head of department.
In the same way Luxon has already secured his next appointment.
Hopefully it isn’t time to put the paper and pen away and turn to civil enforcement. But the time to prepare for all eventualities both international and local should at the least be on everyones mind. Europe and other parts of the world have already turned to violence.
