Jesse Wilde Ft Jason Kerrison – We Had a Choice?

Jesse Wilde We Had A Choice?

I wrote this song in response to the acting Prime Minister Chris Hipkins saying to the media on the 4th of September 2023 “There was no compulsory vaccination, people made their own choices.”

I personally stand for Freedom of Choice and my opinion is that it was extremely insensitive for Chris to say this when the only choice many people in New Zealand had, during the pandemic, was to receive a vaccine or lose their jobs. The music video for this song was created by Gaylene Barnes, the director of the #1 NZ Box Office Movie ‘River of Freedom’ .

This is an upbeat, powerful Folk Rock song, of our time, in the spirit of Bob Dylan and Oliver Anthony. It’s a social commentary about every human beings right to Freedom of Choice. It’s about fighting for the underdog. This song has attitude like all great rock songs should. The Music video for this song is featured on the 2024 Blu-ray release of New Zealand’s Number One Box Office hit Movie ‘River Of Freedom‘.

This song is about standing up for your rights for the good of all humanity. I chose the release date, the 3rd of April, because this is the day Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice to save all of our souls.
