Government adopts some UN Human Rights recommendations

UN Human Rights recommendations news

Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith has announced that the New Zealand Government will accept only a portion of the recommendations received from the United Nations at the fourth Universal Periodic Review (UPR) in Geneva.

Of the 259 recommendations made, the Government is supporting 168 and partially supporting 12, with several key suggestions being rejected or held off for future review.

While the Government claims commitment to human rights, including women’s rights, child poverty, and wellbeing, Goldsmith expressed caution about some recommendations, citing New Zealand’s own constitutional processes as a barrier to full compliance.

Goldsmith also said the Government has introduced an online tool to track progress on human rights commitments, although the extent of its impact remains to be seen.

The formal response will be published on the UN website, although no date for that was specified by Goldsmith in his press release.

  1. What else did New Zealand sign up for?
This past weekend at UN headquarters in New York City, all countries sealed the deal to hand over your freedoms to these UN psychopaths. Every world leader/dictator was there, all signing what the UN calls the “Pact for the Future.”
This, in their own words, is going to morph the United Nations into the “UN 2.0.” When you read the text of this agreement that was adopted by EVERY GOVERNMENT on earth, they said they are going to strengthen the UN.
They want the Secretary General of the UN to explore how he will take over everything during a complex global shock. They want every nation in the world to be under the authority of the International Court of Justice. They want international cooperation on taxes. They want to tax high net worth individuals. The list of things in here is absolutely mind blowing. They are turbo charging the UN and every area of your life is going to be affected by this agreement.
How will the UN take control? The World Economic Forum (WEF) brought up where this was going in 2023. They talked about a ‘poly-crisis’, where you would have multiple crises or one poly-crisis that would basically upend society and require a total transformation.
Where we are headed if these UN psychopaths are not stopped is an economic crisis, a geopolitical crisis, possibly including a major conflict or war, a pandemic or health crisis of some sort with the World Health Organization (WHO), and a whole bunch of other simultaneous crises such as a cyber pandemic.”
If this is enacted, the Secretary General of the UN would end up being a global dictator.

  2. The UN is satanic.
    Read ‘Totalitaria’ by Ian Wishart.
Wether you believe in God and Satan or not,
they do (the UN), and guess which one they worship…

    • Stop pretending their is a left/right, stop whining about wasting votes by taking a chance on new anti-globalist party’s, that’s how. Germans are slowing getting it, we need to do the same given we have essentially the same electoral system.

  4. “UN-human rights”, best way to look at it. No doubt it will be mired in woke doctrine, which is really little more than sheep’s clothing for neo Fascism. Just look at the so called hate speech laws this latest bunch of creeps have craftily resurrected and plan to push on us, from the last Liebour regime. All designed to slowly corral and erode, free thought, free expression and of course the ultimate prize, free speech. The irony is these idiots have to live in this mental prison, along with the rest of us. I hope their gilded cage is a comfortable one.

  5. Paul Goldsmith has no mandate to pass the sovereignty of New Zealand into the hands of unelected UN bureaucrats. He has no mandate to make us subject to the dictates of the WHO, a bureaucracy almost entirely financed and controlled by psycho Bill Gates, a man known and hated generally throughout the world.
Paul Goldsmith, like his other parliamentary henchmen, was elected in a democrat process by the votes of the New Zealand people to do our will, not the will of Klaus Schwab, to care for the people and the country he now represents, and he is paid by us, the taxpayers, to do so. Any attempt by Paul Goldsmith to try and convince us he is working in our best interests by signing a bit of paper with a few made up rules and regulations created by a crowd of tatty wannabe dictators who have set themselves up in another country is going to fail, and he with it.
Paul Goldsmith may protest loudly that he is doing what is best for us but we don’t believe him, or any of those pollies polishing the seats of the debating chamber with their fat bums anymore and no amount of weasel words, media propaganda, or threats is going to change that.
