After just five months as UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has been labelled the worst in modern history, according to a damning Ipsos poll.
With a satisfaction rating of -34, Starmer’s approval is the lowest of any PM since the 1970s. Only 27% of those surveyed said they were satisfied with his leadership, while 61% said they were dissatisfied. This places him behind Gordon Brown (-23) and Rishi Sunak (-22) in early-term unpopularity.
In stark contrast, past leaders like Sir John Major who enjoyed a robust rating of +33 at the same stage of his premiership.
The poll also revealed a grim economic outlook under Starmer’s leadership. Just 15% of respondents believe the economy will improve in the coming year, while 65% expect it to worsen, giving Starmer a “net optimism” rating of -49 on economic matters—the second worst in modern history.
The survey of 1,028 voters was conducted between November 27 and December 4.
Another compromised gimp of a politician, put there to implement the agenda.
