42 year old Kendra Gail Licari of Mount Pleasant, Michigan was previously a basketball coach at her daughter’s high school.
Licari was arrested on 12 December for allegedly conducting a vicious online campaign of stalking and harassment against her own daughter and one of her friends. The elaborate scheme involved Licari use a VPN service to disguise her location, and creating fake social media accounts. With the fake accounts she sent hundreds of abusive messages to her daughter, her friend, and their boyfriends.
Court documents showed Licari charged with two counts of stalking a minor, two counts of using a computer to commit a crime and one count of obstruction of justice.
After months of investigation by the school and local police, the FBI finally tracked down the communications to Licari, who made a full confession when confronted with the allegations.
Licari is due back in court on 29 December, and faces up to 10 years in prison.
