China’s Ministry of State Security has publicly accused New Zealand of harassing Chinese citizens within the country, following complaints from the Chinese embassy.
This accusation comes in response to New Zealand’s Security Intelligence Service (SIS), which had recently interacted with individuals linked to alleged “front” organisations in an effort to dissuade activities considered harmful to New Zealand’s national security.
China has deemed these actions “deeply malicious” and rooted in ideological bias, particularly in light of the SIS’s annual threat assessment that cited potential risks from Chinese intelligence activities.

I have worked with many Chinese people and have found them to be very good people. The Chinese government, however, is another matter. Sometimes we got into discussions about civil rights in China and the government violating them. People from Taiwan and South Korea will willingly join the discussion. I have noticed that the people from China do not join and sometimes look upset. I could tell that they wanted to join and probably had a lot to say but are afraid that somebody will “snitch’ on them to the Chinese government (perhaps via the embassy). Then, what would probably happen is that their family in China would be arrested on some trumped-up charges and they would be ‘invited’ back to China in order to get their family released whilst they would be arrested.
It’s a very sad situation where Chinese people who live outside of China do not feel safe to speak freely and fear retribution upon themselves and their family.
The Chinese people have had a very bad time since the Japanese invasion and subsequent genocide in the 1930’s and 1940’s, then the communists took over in 1949 and people were starving because of their policies up to about 1963, then Tiananmen Square in June 1989. They have not really known freedom for a long time.
Maybe be some truth to that but look at how the US is treating its citizens, Scott Ritter case in question and even non citizens, like Julian Assange and its a game everyone is playing. You will find too, much of the said same censorship and control, will be enacted here too. Its already ready to be rolled out in Australia with the recent misinformation/disinformation (censorship and surveillance) legislation being proposed yet again but a so called Labour govt and don’t get me started on the UK.
If there is a war that extends globally, it will be accelerated. Dark times we live in.
The bars of the cage are right in your face in China. In more ‘democratic’ countries, the bars of the cage must be felt through a mist, but they are still there.
All the lawfare against President Trump, and some of his supporters are in jail now – Steve Bannon, Roger Stone and the J6 political prisoners, some of whom have already committed suicide.
In 1950 (after the communists took over China in 1949) they agreed a 100-year plan to make China ‘the power’ on this Earth. You make that happen by making yourself stronger whilst making your adversaries weaker. China’s agenda aligns with the ‘deep state’ agenda and together with the European elites have made it their goal to destroy the US. This has been going on for a long time. Engaging the US in forever wars and weakening it further by sending manufacturing jobs to China, destroying ‘the family’ with their LGBTQ agenda and sex change operations obsessions and abortion of healthy, viable babies, releasing criminals, DEI, CRT and so on.
But the silver lining is that we are on to it: We are ‘the observers’ and for the first time in history we are noticing what they are doing.

Very foolish behavior
The only reason China would be interested in this flea bite of a nation is if we are getting into bed with nations looking to circumvent their sovereignty. We all know who we are talking about.
If NZ wants to issue with any of the great powers then stay “neutral”. Of course, that’s not happening and it really needs to. Its been over 80 years since the world looked this close to all out war.
We are ALL targets and the real goal is to make us just like the historically oppressed Chinese.
