France secured the Six Nations championship in emphatic style, overpowering Scotland in Paris and setting a new tournament record with 30 tries across their five matches.
Despite England briefly topping the table after a dominant win over Wales, Fabien Galthie’s side responded with a commanding performance, roaring into an early lead through Yoram Moefana’s try and Thomas Ramos’ boot.
Scotland fought back, with Finn Russell’s penalties and a Darcy Graham try narrowing the gap to 16-13 at halftime.
However, France took control in the second half, with Louis Bielle-Biarrey equalling the single-season try record before Ramos and Moefana sealed victory. Ramos also became France’s all-time top points scorer, capping off a triumphant campaign as Scotland’s challenge ultimately faded.
Final score: France 35 – 16 Scotland.
