Lydia Ko wins LPGA award, inducted into Hall of Fame

New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko has been honoured with the LPGA’s Heather Farr Perseverance Award, celebrating her dedication and resilience in her distinguished career.

This accolade follows an extraordinary season in which Ko won Olympic gold, her first British Open title, and secured her place in the LPGA Hall of Fame as the youngest inductee.

Reflecting on her career, Ko expressed immense gratitude to her supporters.

With 22 LPGA wins, including three majors, and several awards such as the Rolex Player of the Year and Vare Trophy, Ko joins a select group to have won both the Founders and Heather Farr Perseverance Awards.
