Nine people have been arrested in Timaru following police Operation Manu.
Police seized drugs and firearms which saw ten search warrants executed across the South Canterbury township. A total of four firearms were seized, along with quantities of methamphetamine and cannabis.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with aggravated robbery, demanding to steal, conspire to deal methamphetamine, two counts of sale and supply of methamphetamine, three counts of unlawfully carrying a firearm. The nine people face a total of 51 charges on drug and firearm offences.
