Great timing to get this going before the election too. I look forward to the talkback and less music if I am honest. If we want music we can listen to that elsewhere. I hope Peter Williams can do his type of shows he did on yesterday FM before they silenced him. He was always so organised, so courteous, dry humour and incredibly informed. Peter is a humble guy but boy do you have a huge contribution to make and you already have done! You seriously helped wake me up Peter and for that I will be forever grateful. Also you had the integrity and courage to leave yesterday FM because you could not be bought or bribed. RESPECT!
Sean will forever rue the day he let Paul Brennan and Rodney Hide slip through his fingers……you nearly had it all Sean……I always like listening even when I didn’t agree, but your stance calling people nutty anti vaxxers etc directed at people like myself has really been a mistake on your part. I am not nutty, I am a normal law abiding hard working mother and wife. I may still tune in to the Platform from time to time but I won’t forget what has been said. Once RCR had the talkback and texts, there will be no stopping them.
Anyway RCR, look forward to the talk back and more fantastic interviews! Keep up the great work!
I turn on RCR when I go online and have it playing in the background. I agree Anon. Less music. I switch off while that racket is on and forget to switch back on. I was disappointed the first day to hear Rodney Hide interviewing the usual effing and effing kiwi male without putting a stop to the foul language. So I didn’t hear that interview either. It was disappointing because the interviewee was interesting and knew his stuff but I just couldn’t stand the continual f, f, f.
Paul Brennan and Peter Williams with the lovely voices conducting in-depth interviews, no gabblespeak like Mike Hoskins and so many of the ZB talk-back hosts, and no continual advertisements!
My daughter has listened to Sean Plunket from the get go and said recently he has changed to ‘govspeak’ so I have sent her a link to RCR.
