West Auckland schoolgirl abducted from home at knifepoint, assaulted in reserve

West Auckland abduction news

The teenager managed to escape from the harrowing ordeal which lasted 7 hours.

A man wearing black clothes and black leather gloves entered her family’s Sunnyvale home on the morning of Wednesday 19 April. The knife-weilding man was described as ‘tall and muscular’. He told the girl to shut up or she would be killed.

The girl’s mother told legacy media her daughter froze after the treat. Still wearing her pyjamas, the man carried her out of the house as the rest of the family slept. The girl managed to struggle free of the hold but the attacker tracked her down in a nearby street.

He took her to a creek located in the area where she was kept for the next 7 hours. During this time the victim recalled the man forced her to consume a white pill and smoke marijuana. While under the influence of these substances the attacker committed a number of indecencies on her.

The girl was able to scramble to safety when the attacker left the scene, calling for help to a group of boys riding their bikes in the park. When found the girl’s clothing was ripped and her hair covered in mud.

The mother said she was shaken and traumatised, but had used her faith in God for strength.

The lack of public information about the attack has heightened concerns in the community as evidenced in social media groups discussing the incident.

The mother told media there had been suspicious activity around the home in the days leading up to the abduction. Other children in the house reported a man outside their windows calling their names. She believed the attacker had been ‘casing’ out the house for some time before the attack.

Police are now looking at CCTV footage and have examined the reserve and the girl’s home. Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity around Parma Place, Chislehurst St, Newham Place and Bloom Cres on Wednesday morning, 19 April is asked to contact police.

Information can be provided through the police 105 phone service or online using ‘Update report’. Please reference file number 230419/4024.

We’ll vote for the Party that restores our full RIGHT (and not a granted ‘Police Privilege’) to MSSA firearms and handguns / pistols, as per the U.N. Right to Self Defence!
