Further arrests in relation to Taumarunui ram raid

Ruapehu Police have made two further arrests in relation to a burglary in Taumarunui earlier this month.

At around 4am on Thursday 13 April Police responded to a report of a burglary of a business on Hakiaha Street, Taumarunui in which a vehicle was used to gain entry to the premises.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on 22 April and has been charged with burglary. He is due to appear in the Taumarunui District Court on 27 April.

A 22-year-old-man was arrested on 17 April and has been charged with receiving. He is due to appear in the Hamilton District Court on 28 April.

Police arrested and charged a youth with burglary on 14 April.

Police have not ruled out filing further charges against the offenders.

Police enquiries into this incident are ongoing and anyone who has information that could assist with enquiries is asked to call Police on 105 or online at ‘Update Report’, referencing file number 230413/9861.
