Grammy winner Michael Bolton cancels tour dates due to brain tumour

Michael Bolton, the Grammy-winning artist, has announced a temporary break from performing due to health reasons.

He revealed in a Facebook post that he underwent urgent surgery in December to remove a brain tumor. This diagnosis and subsequent operation came as unexpected challenges for the 70-year-old singer.

Bolton expressed gratitude for his medical team, stating that the surgery was successful. Currently, he is recuperating at home, supported by his family. Due to his recovery process, he has postponed his tour dates for the first quarter of 2023 and plans to spend some time away from the public eye.

He acknowledged the difficulty in disappointing his fans and postponing shows but emphasized his focus on a speedy recovery to return to performing. Bolton thanked his fans for their love and support over the years and promised to provide more updates as he progresses in his recovery.
