Charles and William’s secret property empire brings in millions each year

An investigation by The Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches programme has uncovered that King Charles and Prince William earn tens of millions yearly through a complex network of private contracts with UK public services, charities, and government departments.

In 2023 their estates in the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall generated £27.4 million (over USD $35 million) and £23.6 million (USD $30 million) respectively.

Dubbed the “Duchy Files,” the investigation reveals that these royal estates are financially intertwined with a variety of public entities, ranging from the National Health Service (NHS) and the military to schools and even a prison. The duchies benefit from extensive commercial rents and feudal charges on land dating back to medieval monarchs, contributing to the nearly $65 million earned by the royal family last year.

According to the investigation, Charles and William derive income from a wide array of sources, including toll bridges, ferry operations, and even burial rights. Their holdings reportedly cover over 5,400 properties, including 900 rental homes and farms, which they lease out across the UK.

One example cited in the report is a deal between the Duchy of Lancaster and an NHS foundation trust, which will pay £11 million ($14 million) over 15 years for warehouse space for ambulances. The Duchy of Cornwall, meanwhile, receives £1.5 million ($1.9 million) per year from the Ministry of Justice for Dartmoor Prison.

While the estates function as commercial landlords, they are exempt from paying tax on corporate profits. Both King Charles and Prince William pay income tax voluntarily at the highest rate, though deductions for expenses linked to their official duties reduce their tax obligations.

This investigation marks the first time the complete list of the two royal estates’ property holdings has been made public, a list previously kept secret—even from the British Parliament.

  1. Greed. Never enough.
To think that many UK families must resort to food banks and that some kids go on an empty stomach to school…

  2. Nothing new here, royal family have been globalist scum for over a hundred years. Nothing wrong with people making a profit, but a lot of the profit from globalists scum goes back into destroying the western world as we know it, in favor of the coming totalitarian nightmare that they want to force us into.

  3. Grifters and parasites, just like all the other globalists fronting for the real power behind the throne and controllers of our world.
The corporate “Empire of the Three City States” controls the world economically, through London’s inner City, militarily through the District of Columbia, and spiritually through the Vatican.
Even the “dog King” has to ask permission to enter the City of London state.
