Hot on the heels of his last hit single ‘Broken’ comes a new fabulous song from Jase Lansky.
‘So I wrote this song as what could have been an amazing love story that simply went wrong, and purely through lack of communication. But unlike my previous single Broken, this track doesn’t actually depict any one person within my life but highlights what happens when we all don’t communicate effectively.
‘The song East Tennessee is about a guy who is in the early stages of a relationship. He arranges to meet his new girlfriend at a local bar but is caught up with life and he doesn’t show up or contact her. Meanwhile she’s sitting in the bar waiting, but as he’s a ‘no show’, she starts to wonder whether he actually likes her enough to have a relationship. While she’s contemplating this new found relationship there’s another guy on the other side of the bar who would love to meet her, and he just happens to be from East Tennessee.
;In reality I wrote this song as a metaphor to life… don’t take for granted what’s in front of you or wait around for the ‘what could be’s’.
‘Work for what you want, love what you have, and live where you can’.
