The Green Party has elected Chlöe Swarbrick, MP for Auckland Central, to be its new Co-leader alongside Marama Davidson.
The announcement was made today.
Swarbrick reiterated her commitment to radical environmental and social policies, together with a pledge to push for a transformative agenda that includes ambitious climate action, a guaranteed minimum income for all, and extensive investment in public services funded by a ‘fair’ tax system. She vowed to mobilise communities against what co-leader Marama Davidson described as the current government’s ‘cold, cynical, and cruel agenda.’

I have a way to shut down the Climate Clowns. Whenever they start evangalizing, I remind them that since ‘their side’ have managed to ‘cancel’ dissident voices from all establishment forums, they have also cancelled the Socratic method which requires scepticism and cross investigation and which is the very basic principle of Science.
As complete proof that they have indeed shitdown science is their mantra of “The Science is Settled” which only the most fervent dogmatic could espouse. “I’m sure you do not require me to explain that to you, do you?” I say, just to further humiliate them upon which they usually grovel or simply stay mum. I then proceed with “What I therefore can confirm is that any system of thought that requires blind faith and bans criticism is Dogma, not Science.
In fact I will go as far as telling them that theirs is a religion: “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” (Deut. 4:2.) I finish with, I do not force my religion on to you, so please do not force your religion on me.
