Musk offers $1m daily reward to pro-Trump petition signers ahead of US election

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has announced a $1 million daily reward for residents of swing states who sign his online petition in support of the US Constitution, aimed at mobilising voters for Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Musk launched the petition in early October, focusing on free speech and gun rights, offering financial incentives to sway swing state voters. At a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Musk handed out the first million-dollar check to a local attendee, while urging support for Trump in the upcoming presidential election on November 5.

Musk’s effort highlights his increasing political involvement. Once claiming political neutrality, Musk publicly endorsed Trump after an attempted assassination on the former president. Musk’s financial backing of Trump’s campaign includes a $75 million donation to America PAC, a group he founded to promote Trump through canvassing and digital ads.

If Trump wins, he has promised to create a new government position tailored for Musk, focusing on cost-cutting initiatives.

  1. Yes, someone has to even up the score. Putting his money where his mouth is.

Trump had a good day at McDonald’s making 🍟 and taking orders from the drive through. I heard he even fixed the snow cone machine.

Truly a very clever guy with great wit winning hearts.
