A Pennsylvania judge has extended voting hours in Cambria County until 10 p.m. ET following a software malfunction in the county’s electronic voting system.
The issue, which arose early on Election Day, prevented voters from scanning their ballots at precincts.
Cambria County officials reassured voters that they would still be able to cast their votes using express voting machines or by submitting paper ballots, with all votes being “securely counted”.
The Pennsylvania Department of State is actively collaborating with local officials to resolve the scanning issue while maintaining normal voting operations.
The Department said that it is committed to ensuring a smooth, fair, and secure election process despite the glitch.
Cambria County Solicitor Ron Repak urged voters not to be discouraged by the malfunction and to proceed to their precincts to participate in the election. As Election Day progresses, local authorities are focused on securing all ballots and providing alternatives to ensure that no voter is turned away.

The Department said that it is committed to ensuring a smooth, fair, and secure election process that favors the Bolsheviks despite the complained about glitch.
More nonsense from the most corrupt country in the world.
There is no possible way the incumbent party would ever get a mandate from the public to continue in power. Just look at numers in the NZ election.
Anything short of a total landslide towards Trump is impossible. The great reset may just turned out to be more than the Rothschilds imagine.
Whoop, the first “glitch”!
Everyone take a drink! 🍻
They failed to impeach Trump, Jail him and Assassinate him. Now they will cheat at the ballot box as they did in 2020.
The sort of dishonesty and lack of clarity we are seeing around US elections, could easily spread. We need to keep an eye open here, to ensure similar behaviour, is not duplicated. That said, the way NZ Loyal were treated hardly speaks to an even playing field.
