Health New Zealand issued an apology after sharing a controversial Instagram Story from the Burnett Foundation, which featured an image of two men appearing to engage in a sex act in a sauna, accompanied by a third man watching.
The post, originally aimed at raising awareness about mpox and measles vaccinations with the tagline “Planning to f*** around during pride? Get up to date with your mpox shots,” was intended for adult Rainbow and “takatāpui” communities but sparked backlash after being reshared to Health New Zealand’s 17,000 followers.
The Instagram story was removed after a few hours, with Health New Zealand’s Catherine Delore publicly acknowledging the misstep and apologising for upsetting viewers, while the Burnett Foundation defended its “sex-positive approach” to targeted health messaging.
I don’t know if f ing around is sex positive no matter your preference.

Mpox is MONKEYpox and ‘takatāpui’ means queer.
Look at the Burnett foundation website [https://www.burnettfoundation.org.nz/about-us/our-story/bruce-burnett/] and learn that Bruce Burnett “In late 1983 he began to feel unwell himself and returned to Aotearoa” from California where he f*cked around himself.
BTW: Health NZ inc. is incorporated, i.e. a corporation.
