Trinity J. Shockley, an 18-year-old transgender student from Indiana, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and intimidation after allegedly planning a mass shooting at Mooresville High School on Valentine’s Day, the anniversary of the Parkland, Florida attack.

Authorities intercepted the plot after receiving an FBI tip, leading to a search of Shockley’s home, where they found a “shrine” to mass shooters, notebooks detailing violent thoughts, and evidence of discussions about the attack on Discord and Snapchat.

Shockley, who reportedly had access to an AR-15 and planned to target students during lunchtime, later claimed the threats were made out of rage.
