A vocal group of protesters gathered this morning at Christchurch Boy’s High School to make their dissatisfaction with the state of the country known to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
According to social media posts, two people were arrested and there was no direct contact between Ardern and the group.
In a video retweeted by @NzFubar on Twitter a number of police can be seen intervening to stop the protesters moving across a rugby field. Some protesters can be heard calling them ‘traitors’ and ‘scum’.
In a separate tweet @NzFubar describes how he saw police on his home CCTV, after having publicised Ardern’s visit the previous day on his Twitter account, and stating the tweet was merely sharing information already in the public domain about the PM’s visit to the school.

DPS & NZ police.. I’m at Marsden for a few days, you already know that. I’ve cctv of the cops at my house, I’ve reported to the local police station, nobody there, and the information of our PMs public appearance was already public knowledge.
