Jeremy Clarkson’s new pub opens to enthusiastic crowds in Oxfordshire

Hundreds of eager customers queued for hours to be among the first to experience Jeremy Clarkson’s new pub, ‘The Farmer’s Dog’, in Asthall, Oxfordshire, which opened its doors to the public yesterday.

The former Top Gear presenter, who purchased the pub earlier this year, told media of his excitement about the new venture, explaining that the idea came from his desire to create a local dining experience after plans for a restaurant at his farm were put on hold.

The pub, which features all British produce, has already attracted attention from fans of Clarkson’s other businesses, including the Diddly Squat farm shop and Hawkstone Brewery.

Clarkson carefully selected the location for its accessibility and ample parking, making it a perfect destination for visitors. The opening day saw enthusiastic patrons, including some who had travelled from afar, eager to sample the food and drink offerings. Clarkson says he is committed to showcasing and selling local and British products.

  1. I think Starmer’s anti-smoking legislation is aimed directly at Clarkson
