A 43-year-old woman has been charged with multiple offenses, including a hate-motivated assault, following an incident on Queen Street, Auckland, on September 2.
Inspector Grant Tetzlaff, Auckland City Central Area Commander, confirmed the charges, which relate to a string of alleged assaults and other offenses in the central city.
Police reviewed CCTV footage after the initial assault, which occurred at the corner of Queen Street and Scotia Place, revealing additional alleged assaults by the same woman as she moved northward on Queen Street that day.
Despite clear CCTV images, police were unable to identify the woman until this past Sunday when she was reported for allegedly abusing and assaulting staff in a downtown Auckland store.
The description provided by store staff matched that of the suspect from the Queen Street assaults.
Officers from Auckland’s Beat Team apprehended her at the scene, and subsequent investigation confirmed her involvement in the September 2 incidents.
The woman now faces charges including three counts of common assault, two counts of assault with intent to injure, and theft related to the initial assault, as well as additional charges for drug possession, common assault, and assaulting three police officers from the Sunday incident.
I don’t really want to get all conspiratorial but, isn’t it weird that none of the mainstream news articles about this list her ethnicity is it because she does not fit the accepted mainstream ethnicity for so called hate crimes? Normally it’s the first thing legacy media want to gleefully tell us when it fits their agenda.
Exactly. What was the hate against? Tell the truth. They may as well say nothing.
Yep, first thing I noticed! Sometimes more is told of the story, by what’s omitted. No conspiracy at all.
Violence and dishonesty go hand in hand
