Brierley faces new charges for possessing child abuse material

Ron Brierly news

Disgraced New Zealand businessman Ron Brierley, 87, has been hit with three fresh charges of possessing child abuse material following a court appearance in Sydney.

Arrested yesterday morning, Brierley was granted bail under strict conditions, including staying at his Sydney waterfront home and being banned from possessing internet-enabled devices.

The new charges come after his 2019 arrest at Sydney Airport, where authorities found over 11,000 illegal images on his devices.

In 2021, he pleaded guilty to similar offenses, serving four months in prison before being released due to health issues. Following his conviction, he was stripped of his knighthood.

  1. Hopefully this is the beginning of the exposure of these unwell people and their disgusting habits to the public. There are many, who is involved will be a shock and how they have used manipulation tactics is heartbreaking. I sincerely hope this signals an end to these crimes for these criminals many whom were/are held in high regard

  2. Maybe he didn’t pay his dues over at the Masonic Lodge, or failed to donate to the Liberal Party…!
