Family First New Zealand has marked its 19th anniversary with a message reaffirming its commitment to championing traditional family values, marriage, and the sanctity of life.
Founded in 2006, the organisation has consistently advocated for strong, stable families, emphasizing that strong marriages and connected families lead to a robust and resilient nation.
Since its inception, Family First has played a prominent role in New Zealand’s social and moral debates, often challenging legislation and public policies perceived as undermining family values. The group has campaigned against various initiatives, including laws related to same-sex marriage, adoption by same-sex couples, cannabis legalisation, euthanasia, and abortion. It has also raised concerns about the impact of modern sex education on children and criticized policies allowing the alteration of birth certificates based on gender identity.
One of Family First’s key battles was opposing the anti-smacking law, which the organisation argues criminalises good parents while failing to reduce child abuse. The group also campaigned against legalising euthanasia and recreational cannabis use, both of which were subject to national referendums. Additionally, it has consistently voiced opposition to comprehensive sex education and progressive gender policies in schools, arguing that they expose children to inappropriate content.
Family First has faced legal challenges over its charitable status, with the Supreme Court ultimately ruling that the organisation did not meet the criteria for charitable registration due to its focus on promoting traditional family structures. Despite this setback and a decade-long legal battle costing approximately three-quarters of a million dollars, the organisation remains steadfast, vowing to continue its advocacy and influence in public policy debates.
Founder and national director Bob McCoskrie said he was thankful to the thousands of New Zealand families who support the group through private donations, as Family First refuses to accept government funding. McCoskrie said the mission to defend family values, life, and freedom will persist, regardless of state recognition or financial challenges.
Family First also hosts the annual “Forum on the Family,” one of New Zealand’s largest social conservative conferences, which attracts national and international speakers to discuss issues such as abortion, euthanasia, drugs, gender ideology, and more.
As Family First enters its 19th year in April, it pledges to continue being a strong and uncompromising voice for families across the country.
3.2 billion babies have been killed/aborted worldwide since 1978.
Congratulations and well done in fighting the good fight against an ever increasing pervasive evil influence against all that is right, moral and just.
What has Family First done in regard to systemic decade-old child abuse enabled by the New Zealand Family Court? Enabled in secrecy at the whim of Judges, financed by core-family destroying socialism/communism.
Every fourth child in New Zealand grows up without father.
What would you like them to do? Start petrol bombing courtrooms?
Will Family First support the New Zealand Loyal Party as opposed to the corrupt ‘Evangelical Christian’ organisations which have experienced sexual harassment in the past and supports Israel in the on-going Genocides and War Crimes in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria?
And then…there’s always the Mossad assassinations, beginning with the most famous assassination of all; JFK, as noted in recently released doccuments!
