For the first time in New Zealand’s history, a woman will hold the top position in the army.
Brigadier Rose King has been promoted to Major General.
Defence Minister Judith Collins announced King’s appointment as Chief of Army, effective from August 27th. King, who has served in the army since 1991, expressed her pride in the appointment, noting the significant progress in “gender inclusivity” within the Defence Force.
Alongside King, Commodore Garin Golding has been promoted to Rear Admiral, leading the navy, while Air Vice-Marshal Darryn ‘Digby’ Webb continues as Chief of Air Force. These leaders will report to Defence Force Chief Air Marshal Tony Davies.
The appointments come at a challenging time for the NZDF, which is dealing with attrition, financial pressures, and the need for a review of defense capabilities. The new leadership team is seen as critical to navigating New Zealand’s evolving strategic environment.
“These accomplished leaders are the New Zealand Defence Force’s (NZDF) most senior officers in their service, bringing a wealth of experience and strategic insight and being dedicated to serving our country,” said Collins in a statement.
“The Government is committed to ensuring the NZDF is well-led and well-prepared to meet the challenges of an increasingly complex global security environment.
“I look forward to working closely with them and advancing the Government’s commitment to strengthening New Zealand’s security and contributing to global peace and stability.”

Furthermore. Is this nation expecting men to go to war to protect the nation, property, and family?
To protect the way in which men who own property, allow women partners in for 3 years and 1 week and lose their home and property?
To protect the male hating family court?
To protect this government who has ordered the holding down of people to be injected against their will?
To protect France who falsely accuse the Telegram Messenger owner?
To protect the UK Government for imprisoning their own citizens for speaking out about open boarders and safety?
Don’t count on men to protect this messy and unsafe life they have today.
