Israel poised to invade Lebanon – reports

Hezbollah has reportedly received intelligence that the IDF is ready for a war on two fronts.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is prepared to start a full-blown war against the pro-Palestinian armed group Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Lebanese broadcaster LBCI reported on Saturday.

Hezbollah has been firing rockets and mortar shells at Israeli positions amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip. The barrages have prompted retaliatory strikes from the Israeli army.

According to LBCI, an intelligence report about Israel’s plans has been provided to Hezbollah by an unnamed Arab country. The potential IDF campaign would be aimed at compelling the militants to abide by the UN Security Resolution 1701, which was adopted after the end of the previous Israel-Lebanon war in 2006, the news agency said. The UN document facilitated the creation of a demilitarized zone along the Israeli-Lebanese border.

The situation further escalated this month after an Israeli strike killed Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut.

Last week, Israeli Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi said that the possibility of the conflict with Beirut is “much higher than it was in the past.” He added that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were in a state of “increasing readiness” for cross-border attack.

Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib, meanwhile, said that the involvement of other countries in the Israel-Hamas fighting would be “unacceptable.” He also warned that a war with Lebanon would not be “a picnic” for Israel. Hezbollah MP Hassan Ezzedine similarly said that the militants would “fight back twice as hard and deal a blow to the enemy.”

Earlier this month, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken traveled to the Middle East to try and prevent a full-blown war between Israel and Hezbollah.

According to the Washington Post, US officials are concerned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may want to attack Israel’s northern neighbor amid the growing criticism of his government’s failure to prevent the Hamas October 7 incursion, which left around 1,200 people dead. The report also suggested that the IDF would find it “difficult to succeed” in a two-front war against Hamas and Hezbollah.

  1. Will get its head into a noose
And who will they call on to extricate them?
The US who is already over committed in different theaters and has seriously depleted ordnance inventories
    Both domestically and abroad
Has a massive influx of illegal aliens invading its southern border
And whose economy is on the verge of collapse through unsustainable debt
And facing supply chain issues through disruption of Red Sea shipping by Houthi rebels
Which could easily escalate to involve Iran a major military power that may or may not have nukes
Which will necessitate the US resorting to nukes and which the Israelies will have no hesitation in launching
    Or is this the plan?
The U.S is moving Nuclear Warheads to UK over the Russia Situation
Ukraine will run out of artillery ammunition within a month and cannot be resupplied
Tells You where this is going
The truth is the US needs a war and it appears everybody else
    Lets hope this is wrong

    • Not to mention the situation China Taiwan
      And North Korea
Which has been supplying Russia with artillery shells in return for food

  2. Hal Turner is reporting that Russia is ready to supply Texas with heavy weapons if Civil War ll erupts over the Biden Border fiasco. To get rid of the child sniffer and the J***** Cabinet would put a stop to a lot of detrimental human events.
Texas may even become a BRICS member…
Once Lebanon is wasted with no protesting from any of the ‘Nation-States’, the Israelis will then go into Syria.
After Syria is destroyed, then comes the invasion and destruction of Jordan, the NW part of Egypt, and the western part of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudis will probably concede a portion of their land in order to keep their business deals intact with the Israelis, and to also keep the oil flowing.
Then comes a massive battle with Iran…
The Israeli idea of moving the Palestinians to the Sinai Peninsula is moot; because IF the Palestinians ever settled there, and began to share the revenues from the Suez Canal, Israel would then accuse the Palestinians of attacking Israeli Gaza from the Sinai. Then we have yet another Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but this time the J*** commit more genocide and outright murder and kill off ALLLLLL of the Palestinians, and the Israelis then march in and steal the Suez Canal!
And note this- NOTHING WILL BE DONE TO HOLD THE TERRORIST CRIMINAL ‘STATE OF ISRAEL’ TO ACCOUNT!
The Zionist J*** are totally out of control globally, and this is their last chance to establish the NWO under Noahide Law posing as Martial Law, with mandates & policies based on the Babylonian Talmud!
Of course, watch and see how THEY will tank the economies, both locally and globally!

  3. I don’t think Israel will take on Hezbollah. Hezbollah are itching to get into this fight but Nasrallah needs a cassus belli so as not to blow the wave of understanding that seems to have crested in the West. People are starting to ask questions. A majority of young Jews in the U.S. now support Palestine.
Hezbollah gave Israel a caning in 2006 anf they are better armed and trained now. I think the last thing Bibi needs right now is a second front. He’s lost a lot of gear and some elite troops in Gaza.

  4. The j*** not Israel think they are going to open a second front and take on Hezbollah
Leaving Gaza and Hamas on the back burner in the interim
After Hezbollah has supposedly been defeated they will return to recommence and finish the genocide that the world condones and tolerates
    If everything goes to plan
    Home by Christmas
Where have we heard that before
