North Island farmers brace for severe drought conditions

North Island drought news

Farmers across New Zealand’s North Island are being urged to prepare for worsening drought conditions as the late summer dry spell intensifies, with Taranaki experiencing what some are calling a “one-in-fifty-year event”.

Water shortages are a growing concern, as wells and bores run dry, compounding the crisis.

Livestock culling, feed shortages, and financial planning are key challenges, and many are anxiously awaiting a government drought declaration.

In Taranaki, Whanganui and Manawatū, farmers are making tough decisions about selling stock as pastures dry out, with some relying on remaining feed reserves that may not last another month without rain.

  1. they have been spraying weird chemtrails all summer long up north here across from west to east and north to south patterns and I have never seen skys so oddly forming patterns and shapes… I think they could be making this so as to disrupt farming.. that’s ultimately what the climate shamsters want us to believe… so they modify it and gardens and grazing and growers collapse… how convenient…
