Kelvyn Alp will travel to Moscow at the invitation of the International Russophile Movement.
Speaking outside the Russian Embassy in Wellington, Alp said the International Russophile Movement was ‘all about bringing independent journalists from around the world to a central location to discuss, make contacts, and find a way to break the back of legacy media that’s controlled across the world.’
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be in attendance, with the possibility of an appearance by President Vladimir Putin.
Later, from Auckland Airport, Alp reported he had passed through NZ Customs without incident, after initial concerns authorities might prove difficult. A clip later showed him on board an Emirates flight to Dubai. From there he will fly to Moscow.
Explaining the trip Hannah Spierer told viewers Counterspin were happy to accept the invite ‘to see what the real story is from their [ie. Russia’s] side, because our mainstream media, like the rest of the globalist run corporate media is not giving us the full story…
