Explosive tweet tonight from investigative journalist Ian Wishart alleges Chloe Swarbrick in store during Golriz Ghahraman shoplifting incident.
Wishart tweeted ‘I gave you a chance @NZGreens, @jamespeshaw, @maramadavidson and @_chloeswarbrick. I believe the Greens leaders lied when they told the public no other Green MP was involved in the incident. Reconcile the statement with the CCTV.’
The party is yet to comment on the allegation, or respond to Wishart’s tweet.
However, internet sleuths say the woman in the footage is not Swarbrick because does not have a tattoo on her right forearm – Swarbrick does.

Chloe needs to step down as well. This shows us she was there and don’t tell me she didn’t know what her mate was up to. Golriz had several bags to put her stolen items into. am tired of the lies and the fact we pay these absolute GRIFTERS any money at all.

Also disappointed at Steven franks the lawyer saying on Twitter that shoplifting is normal behaviour for women of this age and that we should let it go. Seriously Steven? You bloody lawyers need to go work a retail job and see how stressful it is to deal with entitled c**ts who steal. Any lack of accountability from people who are supposed to uphold the law, and supposedly are pillars of the community sends a message to all the absolute FERALS out there who do this kind of shit every day to the poor people who work in the retail sector.
My family work in retail and sometimes shoplifters cause them to fear for their personal safety and it is extremely stressful to be constantly looking over your shoulder while trying to do their jobs.
