A kitchen fire in a two-storey apartment block in Manurewa, South Auckland, left three people injured, one critically, on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services received multiple calls shortly after 1:30 pm and arrived to find the blaze on the first floor. All three victims were transported to the hospital, with one in critical condition and two sustaining moderate injuries.
Fire investigators and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
