A large anti-government protest is making it’s way down Lambton Quay towards Parliament Buildings.
Jacinda Ardern will not be there to meet the crowd.
There are fears Twitter is suppressing video of the protest, as many people who have uploaded video to the social network have contacted Daily Telegraph complaining the videos are not being published.
Legacy mainstream media are intent on characterising the protest as ‘anti-lockdown’, but it is clear this is an anti-jab mandate and anti-government protest from the signs and slogans carried by protesters.

One News reporter Jessica Mutch describes the mood as ‘electric’:
Thousands here at Parliament. Mood electric – high energy. Lots of flags with various messages @1NewsNZ

It was incredible. It was also peaceful and full of Aroha. I estimate 20,000 people were there. By the time the march filled parliament grounds, the tail was still back to civic square.
