Watch: ‘Obliterated’: Liverpool hand Man Utd record drubbing

0

Manchester United slipped to one of the most damaging defeats in recent memory as Mo Salah hit a hat-trick and Liverpool ran riot at a despondent Old Trafford to win 5-0 and pile the pressure on United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

A rampant Liverpool were out of sight by half-time, pummeling the hosts into submission with an opening blitz which brought goals from Naby Keita and Diogo Jota inside the opening quarter of an hour.

With United’s defense in disarray, Salah got his first of the afternoon on 38 minutes – meaning the Egyptian has now scored for a remarkable 10 games in a row in all competitions for the Reds.

A frustrated Cristiano Ronaldo escaped with a yellow card as he kicked the ball into a grounded Curtis Jones just before the break, although there was still time for Salah to strike again in first-half injury time and make it 4-0.

United departed the pitch with boos ringing in their ears as OleOut was already trending by the time the Norwegian had followed his players into the dressing room after a woeful first 45 minutes from his team.

Solskjaer ordered his men out early ahead of the second half, also introducing Paul Pogba for Mason Greenwood.

But the Frenchman merely added to the calamity on show at Old Trafford, being caught dawdling in possession in midfield as Jordan Henderson played in Salah for the Egyptian to seal his hat-trick after 50 minutes and make it 5-0.

Summing up United’s afternoon, Cristiano Ronaldo then saw a goal ruled out for offside as he thought he had at least pulled one back for the humiliated hosts.

Meanwhile on the touchline, cameras caught the presiding mood in both camps as a glum Sir Alex Ferguson puffed out his cheeks and shook his head while Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish was seen in high spirts.

Compounding matters, Pogba was sent off for a dangerous, studs-up lunge on Keita just 15 minutes after the World Cup winner had been brought on in a vain attempt to turn things around. The severity of the challenge was such that Keita was taken off on a stretcher.

Liverpool were mostly content to keep the ball among themselves in a training exercise for the remainder of the game, saving the battered hosts more damage in a contest which would have been waved off long ago were it a boxing bout.

Many of the United faithful had already streamed out of the stadium by that point as their Liverpool rivals gleefully gave a rendition of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ from the away end.

Online, the knives were well and truly out for Solskjaer – with many claiming this should be the last nail in the coffin for a man who has struggled to bring anything like the consistency required from his team to challenge for the Premier League title.

Up in the TV studio, former United defender-turned-pundit Gary Neville called the result “an absolute shocker.”

“It’s been building now for a few weeks against half-decent teams. As soon as they play a proper team, they’ve been obliterated, pulled to pieces, dismantled.

“That’s a poor reflection upon the manager, the staff and the players,” added Neville.

According to the stats men, the win was the biggest ever for Liverpool at Old Trafford and the first time United have lost by 5 or more goals to nil at home since February 1955, when they were battered by the same scoreline by Manchester City.

The win for Jurgen Klopp’s impressive Liverpool moved them to within one point of Chelsea at the Premier League summit, while United remain eight points off the pace down in seventh, having suffered three defeats in nine games thus far this campaign.

Pakistan thrash India in T20 World Cup

0

Pakistan have thrashed India by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup match at the Dubai International Stadium.

It’s always a tense match when these two cricket heavyweights meet. Pakistan’s win was one for the history books: it was the first time they’d ever beaten India in a world cup match, and it was the first India have ever lost a T20 match by 10 wickets.

Chasing 152 to win, Pakistani openers Azam and Rizwan reached the target without losing a wicket and with 13 balls to spare.

Watch: ‘Be Kind’ – except to the unvaccinated

2

For more than a year Jacinda Ardern has told kiwis to ‘Be Kind’ as we go through the economic and social crisis her government has created in response to a disease from which there is a 99.97% chance of recovery.

We have been told ‘Be Kind’ even as your business and mental health, and those of your friends and family, crash all around you.

A video that has surfaced on Bitchute completely exposes the PM’s kindness double-standards. If you’ve had the jab, the government will deign to ‘be kind’ to you. If you haven’t you’re freedoms will be removed. The Chinese Social Credit system is now here folks.

In the short clip the interviewer says to Ardern:

‘It’s almost like there’s two different classes of people – if you’re vaccinated or if you’re unvaccinated. If you’re vaccinated…you have all these rights…’

‘That is what it is,’ interjected Ardern, nodding her head and smiling, ‘so yep, yep.’

The fact that Ardern is creating a form of social apartheid, a medical apartheid, akin to the immoral policies of Apartheid South Africa does not seem to bother her. In fact, she’s smiling about it.

I can envisage circumstances in which medical apartheid would be justified for public health reasons, but those circumstances would need to be extreme. The COVID ‘pandemic’ comes nowhere near ‘extreme’ in my books. The mortality rate is so low that it’s almost statistically irrelevant, and indeed, below that of more common diseases. And secondly, there is a cheap, inexpensive and highly effective medicine for the disease, named Ivermectin, which the government has criminally banned from use and the legacy mainstream media (who are owned by the same American interests which own big pharma companies) falsely claim is ‘ineffective’.

The utter disregard and concern for the welfare of those who chose not to have the clot shot displayed in this video by Ardern is chilling, and shows up her ‘Be Kind’ message as nothing more than fake jingoism. Wake up New Zealand!

5 signs of diabetes to watch out for

Diabetes is a growing public health problem in New Zealand, particularly among Pacific, Maori and Asian people, and increasingly, among older Europeans.

It’s estimated there are about 250,000 people living with diabetes in New Zealand, of which between 5% and 10% are Type 1, and the rest Type 2.

Type 1 diabetes is when your body stops producing insulin, and you need to inject it in order to live. Insulin is a hormone produced in your pancreas which allows your body to use sugar and carbohydrates.

Type 2 diabetes is when your cells don’t produce enough insulin to keep you healthy, and most people try to manage this form of the disease through diet and medication.

So, what are the early warning signs you might be developing diabetes? We’ve put together a list of the top five symptoms. The list is not definitive or authoritative, so remember to always to consult your doctor for medical advice.

5. Tiredness

People with diabetes frequently display tiredness. This is because your blood glucose levels are not controlled well by your body, leading to excess fatigue.

4. Poor blood circulation

Due to an increase in the glucose sugar level of your blood, it tends to make it thicker, causing the blood vessels to get narrower. This in turn can lead to a feeling of numbness, especially at the extremities like hands and feet, as well as difficulty in healing cuts and bruises around the body.

3. Dehydration

Diabetes causese dehydration. The dehydration comes from the increased sugar glucose in the blood, which acts like a sponge to the water, making you feel more thirsty. The dehydration can also lead to vision problems, because they eyes become irritated and itchy from dryness.

2. Going to the toilet more often

You might also find yourself going to the toilet more often to urinate. When the blood sugar levels are high, your kidneys start working overtime to remove the excess sugar from your blood. The by-products are then transported to your bladder, making you feel the need to urintate more often.

1. Dry skin

Because of the decreased blood flow, vital nutrients often do not reach the skin. Around 30% of diabetes sufferers will develop skin conditions as a result, which can range from mild irritation to more serious conditions.

Who was Erasmus?

The Renaissance was a period full of great men and women, names we remember today; philosophers, artists, scientists, figures like Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Gutenberg.

There was also the important development of the Reformation in Europe, which took place at the same time (around 1490s to late 1500s), spearheaded by figures like Martin Luther and John Calvin.

The Renaissance was a cultural revolution, beginning in Italy, from where it spread to all parts of Europe. The Reformation was a religious movement, which began in Northern Europe and also spread across the continent. Both movements sought social and political change, from the rigid focus on religion and control of the Catholic Church, to a more free society in which humans were the masters of their world.

The name Erasmus (and no rugby fans, we don’t mean former Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus) may not be as famous as Da VInci’s or Luther’s, but arguably it was his teachings which laid the foundation for both revolutions. Without them, there would have been no Renaissance or Reformation, and the world we live in today would have been very different.

Erasmus (full name Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus) was born in 1466 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He was the illegitimate son of a priest and received a very good education by the standards of the day. He was ordained himself a priest, and entered into scholarly pursuits which took him all over Europe.

Erasmus’ most important work related to translations of the New Testament from the Bible into Latin and Greek, and the publishing of other works such as On Free Will, In Praise of Folly, and Handbook of a Christian Knight, in which he developed a theory known as ‘humanism’, where man took a more central role in the world. His new Bible translations also paved the way for new interpretations of the holy book, which up to that time, had been monopolised by the Catholic Church.

Erasmus died suddenly in Basel, Switzerland in 1536, and was buried in there. So, next time you read or hear about the Renaissance or Reformation, be sure to remember the name Erasmus, the father of both, and the ‘Prince of Humanists’.

‘I know more about being healthy than 99% of doctors’

0

American surfing king Kelly Slater has triggered more controversy with his input on the debate surrounding vaccine mandates, claiming to know more than most doctors about being healthy and telling people to “open their minds.”

Slater courted contention earlier this year when he said he would not be comfortable getting jabbed but insisted that he was not anti-vaccine.

The 11-time World Surf League champ has now ignited more anger, this time with his response to a seemingly innocuous post from a little-known Australian account on Instagram.

“Thank you to everyone that has been vaccinated this year against Covid-19. If you haven’t already, please join us and get jabbed,” wrote the ‘Summer of Surf’ account in a pro-vaccine message to followers.

“In addition to reducing both the risk of catching, and the severity of the disease, it is also our only way back to normality long term.”

Among those to initially chime in was Aussie Ironman star Trevor Hendy, who shared his opposition to mandatory vaccines.

“It’s people’s choice… Love to all who do or don’t take the procedure. Respect to all, not games and sides,” Hendy wrote.

That prompted fellow Ironman king Matt Poole – whose profile has been boosted by his relationship with Instagram influencer Tammy Hembrow – to launch a stanch defense of vaccine programs.

“The next time I head down to surfers I’m going to jump in the rip [dangerous current] because ‘freedom of choice’,” wrote the 32-year-old Poole.

“Trev you understand that – you just said you can’t dictate to me what is or isn’t potentially dangerous.

“It’s no issue for me, but as soon as I start telling others there is no danger in the rip, they’ll jump in too, and tell their mates and before you know it, there is a 100 of us in there. But Trev – that’s our choice.

“Now some of the 100 get in trouble, and lifesavers come to save them… putting those lifesavers in danger as well.

“Now 50 are drowning and the lifesavers are overrun and can’t save them all or themselves…. But that was our choice.

“It’s not freedom of choice if it impacts others – it’s about helping others.”

That’s where Slater rode in, issuing a rant in which he claimed to know more than most doctors about maintaining his health.

“@matt_poole1 let me explain why your analogy makes no sense,” raged the 49-year-old.

“If I know the risks (informed consent) and I judge the choice to be one that benefits/hurts me based on stats and info and my own ability (health), I can choose accordingly.

“If something happens to me it’s on me, not someone else. Your argument is a false equivalence. Apples and oranges.

If 99.7% of all people would be fine with no lifeguard while in that rip and they’re given all the possibilities, most could swim the most dangerous part of that beach without risking drowning.

“And plenty of people drive without seatbelts. We can agree that’s statistically not a great thing at speed but it’s still your choice, not mine. And my seatbelt (like the gene therapy) doesn’t save you so that’s another fallacy.

“Now regarding Covid…21 total deaths in OZ under the age of 30 and 6 below 20. This is clearly a disease of obese, unhealthy, and elderly if you study the official statistics.

“And for people saying listen to the doctors, I’m positive I know more about being healthy than 99% of doctors, but I wouldn’t trust me. But most of my Covid info comes directly from doctor friends, many of them in disagreement with the official ‘science’.

“I had another of many friends have horrible reaction to the vaccine just today. She thought she was dying and fears her quality of life has changed in the past few days for good.

“My mom also is part of those underreported stats. Other friends have literally died from it. So anyone here shaming people who are affected or concerned does nothing but feed the ego.”

Slater further claimed: “When you study and talk to health professionals that deal with actual health and find out about the immune system suppression from the vaccines one day, you’ll open your mind to it.

“Don’t worry, plenty of doctors also talk about this but your algorithm isn’t feeding it to you. It’s wild that people don’t believe we are born with the ability of our bodies to adjust and prepare for different health issues. Covid exposes the unhealthy underlying patterns and issues in people.”

Slater was berated for his comments, with Aussie Ironman Jett Kenny responding: “I hope you’re this invested in our sport and the topics around it when we are competing and when the professional series is on.

“Would be amazing to have your support and exposure.

“Unless you’re just here for your personal beliefs and the argumentative/debate side of vaccinations and knowing more about being healthy than 99% of doctors?

“Regardless, I’d love to know how you’ve ended up on a nippers Instagram post debating vaccinations and choices.”

Australia has fared better than many in terms of Covid casualties, having implemented strict quarantine measures for lengthy periods in many parts of the country.

The most recent data shows that Australia has suffered around 156,000 cases and 1,622 deaths out of a population of just over 25.5 million.

In Slater’s US homeland, however, the situation has been markedly different.

America has suffered over 730,000 Covid-related deaths since the start of the pandemic with more than 45 million cases recorded.

Watch: ‘Battle of Behemoths’

0

MMA pundits and fans have reacted following a stunning KO that occurred on Saturday in a fight that lasted a mere 18 seconds between two men weighing a combined 587 pounds.

While most viewers were focused on cards from Bellator in Moscow and a UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, hardcore MMA enthusiasts also had one eye on KSW 64 at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland.

Dubbed the “Battle of the Behemoths”, one of its main draws pitted local fighter Mariusz Pudzianowski and Senegalese wrestler Serigne Ousmane Da, also known as Bombardier, against one another.

The two main weighed a near-combined 600 pounds and nobody expected it to last long.

But perhaps a little longer than 15-20 seconds, tops.

Squaring off in the center of the octagon following the first buzzer, Pudzianowski shimmied and connected with a kick to the shins as Bombardier advanced.

Retreating with his back about to be against the cage, the five-time World’s Strongest Man let off two big rights and connected with the second that immediately felled a Bombardier also swinging wildly.

Dragged off by the referee, Pudzianowski celebrated what Ariel Helwani described as the “KO heard around the world” while his foe lay out cold on the canvas.

Another pundit described it as an “unholy KO” and “unreal”.

“What a night for the MMA legends,” he added, in reference to a big win in Moscow for Fedor Emelianenko too.

“They don’t call him a strongman for no reason,” quipped a fan.

“That’s why they call him Pudzilla,” was another similar comment.

“Pudz [is] not here for a long time, [he’s] here for a good time,” it was also said.

But not everyone was impressed, calling the action “underwhelming”.

“You’re hurting Pudzianowski with this opposition,” scoffed a Polish enthusiast.

Online petition calling for Ardern to resign reaches 50,000 signatures

7

An online petition calling for Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to resign has now more than 50,000 signatures.

The petition, started by Blair Jones, is available at Change.org, and had 51,812 signatures at the time of writing. If 75,000 signatures are reached, the petition becomes one of the most popular ever on Change.org.

The number of signatures is remarkable given the fact the petition has received little to no publicity. By comparison the marketing spend for ‘Super Saturday’ vaxathon last week was a $30,000 cost to the taxpayer per vaccine recipient. Even with that massive spend, and other coercive techniques, the event was well below the 150,000 vaccination target.

Jones sets out the purpose of the petition as follows:

Enough is enough…

The constant and blatant Abuse of Powers by the current Prime Minister and her government has gone too far.

From False Promises during election time, to causing Racial Divide in our country, the current Prime Minister and her government are steering all of us in a direction which is Dangerous to our Freedoms!

He goes on:

The amount of Rushed Laws and changes that this Prime Minister and her government have pushed through during this State of Fear from Covid is truly alarming and worrying to say the least, but i fear the worst is still to come! A slow and gradual Permanent Change is always easier to carry out than a Quick and Forced one…think about the bigger picture here, look at what has been done in the last couple of years and gain awareness as to what direction we are being taken in as a country. Lets Do Something About It!!!

The petition can be found here.
