All Blacks Head Coach Scott Robertson and his coaching team have announced their lineup to face England at Twickenham’s Allianz Stadium (Twickenham) this Sunday.
The team features significant changes from their last match against Japan, with only three players retaining their starting positions.
Loosehead prop Tamaiti Williams is set to start alongside Tyrel Lomax and Codie Taylor in the front row, with Asafo Aumua, Ofa Tu’ungafasi, and Pasilio Tosi providing cover.
Captain Scott Barrett pairs with Tupou Vaa’i at lock, supported by Patrick Tuipulotu in reserve. In the loose forwards, Wallace Sititi shifts to blindside, with Sam Cane at openside flanker and Ardie Savea joining as No. 8. Samipeni Finau steps into an impact role for this match.
Cortez Ratima will start at halfback, sharing duties with Cam Roigard, while Beauden Barrett controls first five-eighth, and Jordie Barrett returns from injury at second five-eighth. Mark Tele’a and Caleb Clarke will take the wings, with Rieko Ioane at center and Will Jordan at fullback. Anton Lienert-Brown and Damian McKenzie round out the backs, providing impact from the bench.
Head Coach Robertson acknowledged the challenge and atmosphere awaiting at Twickenham, saying, “The All Blacks have had fierce battles here in recent years, and with the Hillary Shield at stake, we’re ready to step up.”
The All Blacks currently hold the Hillary Shield, having won the Steinlager Ultra Low Carb Series in New Zealand in July.
