Prolific winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has secured a two-year contract extension with the One New Zealand Warriors, committing to the club until the end of 2027.
The 29-year-old international, who joined the Warriors in 2021, has enjoyed the most productive period of his career over the past two seasons, becoming the club’s top try-scorer and earning accolades such as a spot in the Dally M Team of the Year.
In 2023, Watene-Zelezniak set a club record with 24 tries in 20 games, followed by another standout season in 2024 with 15 tries in 22 appearances.
Warriors head coach Andrew Webster praised Watene-Zelezniak’s fierce and fearless style of play, highlighting his ability to score unlikely tries and inspire the team with his ball returns.
The winger capped the 2024 season with a hat-trick in a dramatic 30-28 comeback win over the Cronulla Sharks, reaching key milestones by scoring his 50th try for the Warriors and 100th career try in the NRL.
Having made his 200th career appearance this year, Watene-Zelezniak continues to thrive at the Warriors and looks set to elevate his game even further in the seasons to come.
