David Moyes has been reappointed as Everton manager, signing a two-and-a-half-year deal following the dismissal of Sean Dyche.
The 61-year-old Scot, who previously managed the club from 2002 to 2013, expressed excitement about returning to Goodison Park and urged fans to rally behind the team as they battle to stay in the Premier League.
With Everton sitting 16th and just one point above the relegation zone, Moyes aims to draw on his successful first tenure, during which he led the team to multiple top-eight finishes and an FA Cup final.
After managing Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland, and West Ham—where he won the 2023 Europa Conference League—Moyes faces the challenge of stabilising Everton ahead of their move to a new stadium.
