An electrifying State of Origin decider took place tonight in Brisbane, with New South Wales triumphing over Queensland with a 14-4 victory, securing their first series win since 2021.
The low-scoring match turned in NSW’s favour when Jarome Luai brilliantly set up Bradman Best for a try in the corner, followed by a swift score from Mitch Moses.
The double blow proved insurmountable for Queensland, as the Blues held on to claim the series. Remarkably, this marks only the third time since 1994 and 2005 that NSW has won a series decider in Queensland.
