Trump vows to sue Google over ‘election interference’

trump vows to sue

Donald Trump, the leading Republican presidential candidate, has announced that he will take Google to court if reelected, accusing the tech giant of unfairly boosting his Democratic rival Kamala Harris in search results.

In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump blasted Google for its alleged “blatant interference” in elections, claiming the company intentionally promotes negative stories about him while elevating positive news about Harris.

Trump’s remarks follow a report by the conservative Media Research Center, which suggested Google is giving Harris’ campaign website preferential treatment in its search rankings over Trump’s. Google denied these accusations, claiming that both candidates’ websites appear at the top of search results for relevant queries. Trump, however, is not backing down, stating that if reelected, he will urge the Department of Justice to prosecute Google for manipulating its platform to sway public opinion and rig the election in favour of Harris. Tech mogul Elon Musk has also weighed in, accusing Google of bias against Trump, further fueling the former president’s claims of tech censorship.

  1. Call it out. That’s how they’d play it. They’d be the first to complain about any or all the isms, which is so overused now that no one really cares anymore, deliberately making it worse.
