Calls for the release of Julian Assange to step up this week.
The details of the new worldwide initiative for Julian Assange’s freedom are have been released recently.
A ‘Global Carnival’ will begin with a demonstration in London organised by Don’t Extradite Assange on 11 February, where all the groups, committees, political and social formations calling for the release of the imprisoned Australian journalist will march. Similar protests are planned around the world from ‘Buenos Aires to Australia’.
Information about events can be found on www.24hassange.org. On 11 February, from 11 a.m. to midnight GMT there will be a live broadcast on Pressenza Italia‘s YouTube channel and on that of Terra Nuova Edizioni.
