The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced the killing of Nabil Qaouk, a senior Hezbollah official, in an airstrike on Saturday.
Qaouk, who was a key figure on Hezbollah’s Central Council and led the group’s Preventive Security Unit, was reportedly targeted for his involvement in organising attacks against Israel. The IDF described Qaouk as being closely aligned with the top leadership of Hezbollah and accused him of promoting recent terrorist activities.
The strike follows the recent assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the elimination of other senior figures within the group’s military command.
Meanwhile Iranian authorities confirmed the death of Abbas Nilforoushan, a deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in the same raid, condemning Israel’s actions as terrorist and criminal.

When Hezbollah is destroyed then the Lebanese people can be free. Also, the Israelis who live in the North of Israel can return to their homes safely.
