Over 600 missing and 116 dead as Hurricane Helene devastates southeastern US

The aftermath of Hurricane Helene has left more than 600 people missing or unaccounted for, according to a statement from the White House.

The storm, which made landfall in Florida on Thursday as a Category 4 hurricane, has become the most powerful on record to hit Florida’s Big Bend region, before sweeping north into Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee.

Nationwide, at least 116 people have been confirmed dead, with 35 fatalities reported in North Carolina’s Buncombe County alone, according to CBS.

The storm’s widespread destruction has also left approximately 2 million people without power, as 50,000 personnel work to restore electricity across multiple states.

In North Carolina, the devastation is particularly severe, with Governor Roy Cooper warning that Hurricane Helene has “washed entire communities off the map.”

Rescue efforts are ongoing, with more than 50 teams working around the clock to reach stranded residents. Emergency supplies, including food and water, are being airlifted into isolated areas due to road closures, making ground transportation impossible in many parts of the state.

Residents are using social media to search for missing loved ones, posting updates and calls for help as the state’s emergency services continue their rescue and recovery operations.

The scale of the disaster is immense, with communities across the southeastern U.S. grappling with the destruction left in Helene’s wake. Despite the massive recovery efforts, officials warn that it could take weeks before the full scope of the storm’s impact is realised.

  1. Unprecedented storms, floods, droughts, wildfires, earthquakes and other natural disasters are being unleashed, as governments are aggressively disrupting the natural balance of the Earth’s climate and weather, literally destroying the lives of millions worldwide.
International programs to modify the weather and the climate started as far back as the 1800’s, but it wasn’t until the 1960’s that president John F. Kennedy and vice president Lyndon B. Johnson made it public.
Official documents reveal how the US government has been modifying the weather for decades, with disastrous outcomes for human health and the environment. Part of these programs is stratospheric aerosol injection, or the spraying of indescribable amounts of toxic chemicals and harmful metal oxides. These are international programs including almost every nation of the world.

  2. The Hurricane passed through here in Cancún during the night a little bit of damage to trees, palm trees, not much, bit of surface flooding, not much and a solid day of rain but that’s all. Modified on the way up to Florida.

In the Carolinas too, apparently lithium in them thar hills.
Parent less children wandering aimlessly about looking.
Food and fuel drops a Trump initiative.
