The former Top Gear star was aged 55.
Hoonicorn Racing posted a tribute to Block on Instagram.
‘It’s with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed.’
Four days ago Block posted a view of snow-covered landscape at his ranch in Utah.

The local Sheriff’s Office said Block was riding a snowmobile on a steep slope when the snowmobile upended, landing on top of him. ‘He was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident’.
Block was riding as part of a group but ‘was alone when the accident occurred’.
Block rose to fame through his Gymkhana series of internet videos, and was co-founder of DC Shoes.

Extremely saddened to find out about the news of Ken Block passing away this morning.
I still remember seeing him on Top Gear for the first time, or when I played the Dirt 2, and discovered Gymkhana.
Dude was a huge part of car culture and he'll be deeply missed by many 😔
