Storage unit suitcase murders – bodies were moved before police discovery

South Korean murders news

Reports in state-subsidized legacy media today confirm the suitcases in which the decomposed bodies of two children were found had been moved between storage units a year before they were discovered.

A 42 year old South Korean woman has been charged with their murder and is currently in the process of being extradited to New Zealand.

The bodies of the two children aged between 5 and 10 years were first discovered by a Manurewa family who had innoncently purchased the suitcases and other abandoned items from a Papatoetoe SafeStore facility.

New information published today confirmed the suitcases had been moved between two storage units in the SafeStore facility sometime in the second half of 2021. While there were a lot of ‘dead rats and flies’ there was nothing else to suggest there were bodies inside the suitcases.

The accused woman has been arrested in South Korea and is currently awaiting a decision on the New Zealand police application for extradition by the Seoul High Court.

  1. There HAS to be a lot more to this story than we currently know? Why would a mother do something like that to her own children? Is she protecting someone, and if so are they still here in NZ?

And it seems like the dumbest attempt to hide the bodies – they had to have known someone would open the bags AT SOME POINT and trace the paperwork back to them?! They couldn’t have been that stupid. It just doesn’t add up
