24 year old McNeill-Hulme was sentenced to 22 months imprisonment.
Judge David Robinson also gave McNeill-Hulme leave to apply for home detention if a suitable address could be found.
Details of the offending decribed in court by one victim as ‘feral’ have been made available.
In 2019 McNeill-Hulme picked up the first victim after she had finished work. Instead of dropping her home he drove and parked his van in a secluded area and demanded she perform a sex act on him. She declined. McNeill-Hulme began touching her all over her body and forced his fingers into her mouth. She managed to appease him, and he took her home, telling her not to tell anyone.
Six months later he was giving another woman a lift in his van. She had had an argument with her partner earlier. He parked the van in an area of Pine Hill and the two smoked cannabis and drank alcohol.
Later, he led her to the back of the van, laid on top of her, kissing her neck and face. The victim told him repeatedly to stop.
The two returned to the front of the van where McNeill-Hulme performed a sex act.
The judge told McNeill-Hulme the victim’s ‘clear protests ought to have made it plain to you that your actions were inappropriate and ought to have stopped.’
The offending had a significant impact on both victims. The first was now suffering from PTSD, and the second had given up her studies and job, and had self-harmed on at least one occasion.
Maybe don’t get into vans with perverted weirdos to drink and smoke weed, is all I’m saying ladies ????????????♂️
