Police seek fleeing driver in Port Hills firearms incident

Port Hills news

Police are following lines of enquiry to locate the occupants of a vehicle that fled from Police earlier today.

The vehicle was later found abandoned on Moorhouse Avenue, Addington where the offender stole a second vehicle and fled. Observations on this second vehicle were lost soon after that.

At this time the driver is still outstanding and Police would like to hear from anyone who has information that could assist with enquiries.

Information can be provided via 105 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting event number P052705666.

This is a very sad indictment of an unnecessary attack orchestrated against law-abiding citizens displaying their right to peaceful protest
Which it has been revealed was politically motivated and inspired
And what’s more it transpires could have been totally averted
    The good news is
We have some very good Police who are totally professional, dedicated and decent
And who are intent and diligent in upholding the Law
But who are impeded and hamstrung in their progress through rot and deadwood in the crown of the tree
The Police are like any other denomination of society
    A microcosm of the macrocosm
