Australian MPs call on US Attorney-General to stop Assange extradition

Julian Assange news

48 Australian politicians signed an open letter to Merrick Garland.

This follows a similar letter last week signed by 30 British parliamentarians.

The 48 Australian MPs include senators, backbencher, Coalition, Greens and cross-benchers.

‘If the extradition is approved, Australians will witness the deportation of one of our citizens from one AUKUS partner to another – our closest strategic ally – with Mr. Assange facing the prospect of spending the rest of his life in prison. This would set a dangerous precedent for all global citizens, journalists, publishers, media organisations and the freedom of the press. It would also be needlessly damaging for the US as a world leader on freedom of expression and the rule of law.’

  1. it is about time !!! What a shameless bunch are uk and aussie politicians, not to speak of main stream media journalists, worldwide, who let assange rot in a uk jail.
They could have gone on strike untill assange was freed..

  2. Merrick Garland will NOT comply with this request / demand from Aussie politicians; Garland is a ***, like 90% of Biden’s Cabinet, and realises that freeing Assange will reveal the secrets of the Zionist Cabal (aka ZOG) that operated under Noahide Law using Talmudic Modus Operandis.
IF Assange gets out of Belmarsh, he should be spirited away ASAP by his faithful supporters to a waiting private jet and flown to Moscow, where he will be safe.
IF he can’t make it to the jet, then a helicopter can rendevous with a Russian sub off the coast in International Waters, and drop Assange off on the sub’s deck.
    Same ops for Kim Dotcom…!
The Russian who was recently exchanged for the trans-basketball player previously held in Russia sent Trump a telegram urging Trump to go to Russia where he will be safe. The same can be afforded to Assange, and Kim Dotcom with his family and business partners who were charged under a civil case, but actioned by the ****** ‘Judiciary’ Kabbala in Hollywood and the U.S. Just-us Department into appearing as a federal Felony Case.

  3. IF Garland the *** doesn’t comply, then Australia should cancel the purchase of U.S. nuclear submarines, and instead purchase German 216 hydrogen-fuelled subs with the addition of the Swedish mod using super quiet Stirling engines, all for a fraction of the cost of going ‘nuclear’.
IF Assange isn’t freed from that pressure, then Australia should cancel it’s membership in AUKUS!
