The revelations were made by former England international Danny Cipriani in his autobiography ‘Who Am I?’.
The book will be available to Amazon Kindle users from 14 September.
In a snippet of the book released to media Cipriani recalled an incident in 2016 when he said then England national coach Eddie Jones approached him at the dinner table and said, ‘Mate, doesn’t Kirsty Gallacher live around here? Haven’t you shagged her? What’s she like?’
Gallacher and Cipriani had dated for a short time, but had split by the time of the alleged exchange. The former flyhalf told Jones he wasn’t comfortable talking about it, but said Jones kept badgering him like ‘a horny teenager.’
Jone dismissed the claim, telling MailOnline Sport that it was ‘f*****g nonsense”.
‘To be quite frank, it’s a complete fabrication. We didn’t select him. When players don’t get selected, they always have an axe to grind – we know that.
‘He’s selling a book, so nothing surprises me when players want to sell books. It’s absurd. It’s almost too absurd to talk about.
‘I think it’s very sad for him that he feels he has to make something up to sell his book.’
